We’ve made it. Christmas Eve. I actually love Christmas Eve so much more than Christmas and I try to savor every ounce of it. Some of my life’s most special memories are warmly wrapped into Christmas Eves past.
So what does Christmas mean to me?
Honestly, it’s just a magical time of year. I know I’ve thrown that word around a lot this Blogmas season, but it truly is. Why is it magical?
Parents are so concerned with keeping the magic alive in their children’s eyes.
Even the Scroogiest person you know has their tree up.
You hear, “Merry Christmas!” everywhere you go.
Family.
Friends.
A savior.
There’s. So. Much. Magic. (and good food. and presents, let’s be real.)
In the last 72 hours, I’ve spent quality time with more of my family than I’ve managed any Christmas in the last decade. Seriously. That’s definitely something to be thankful for! We also had our somewhat traditional Chinese food on Christmas Eve dinner. My heart is so totally full, and I hope yours is too, whether you’re celebrating Christmas, kicking back on a Monday, or anything!
xoxo Merry Christmas Eve!
