Gosh, it has been such a long time since I’ve done a favorites post and I’ve been collecting a few really great favorites that I wanted to share with you today!
Thrive Causemetics Filtered Effects Setting Powder– I caved after watching Kathleen Lights rave about this stuff, and boy, she is not wrong. I’ve been using this to set my whole face, but it is especially great for the under eye area (which I’ve needed a lot lately because I do not handle stress well and it often amounts to very little sleep and/or like, crying lol). Also, it looks so great in pictures, if you’re into that kind of thing!
Another on the beauty bops list, Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Hydrating Longwear Foundation– All my dry skin girls, I’ve found the holy grail of foundations! I love this because it’s light, has great coverage, lasts all day, and keeps a dewy finish (even when I set it with Thrive!). There’s an absolutely huge shade range and bonus, it smells really nice!
Guys. Gilmore Girls. I am so so so so late to the party, and I wasn’t just totally unaware of the party, but I never watched the show with any consistency until a few weeks ago and I am hooked. Gilmore Girls is the coziest, cutest, feel good show I’ve ever watched and my evenings feel incomplete without it. I am a total Lorelai in case you were wondering. If you’re also out of the loop, this show is mainly about three generations of (last name) Gilmore girls and all the twists and turns of their lives. It’s funny and serious and heartwarming and I cannot rave about it enough. It’s on Netflix if you want to binge too!
Finally, an undated day calendar. If you’re like me, you buy a new planner every year thinking, “This’ll be the year that I fill this thing out! I won’t throw it away totally blank and useless in 365 days.” Also, if you’re like me, you throw away that blank planner every 365 days. In walks the undated planner. It’s incredibly versatile because you write in the date and day of the week and then fill out all of your to-dos. This is perfect for someone who doesn’t keep up with a planner regularly because guess what? No need for consecutive planning. I got this little cutie from amazon, and with my planning skills, it’ll probably last me several years.
