Christmastime is here, so it’s time the stockings were hung from our chimneys with care! But, what to fill them with? Well, I’ve got you covered.
I love a good stocking, and I just so happen to have a lot of people in my life who feel the same way, so stockings are kind of a big deal around here. Candy, products, gift cards, coal, whatever! It’s all so much fun! I’ve sorted out some of my favorite stocking ideas by price point, and wanted to share them with you!
Under $10
Candy – Obviously. Cater your candy selections to the giftee, but this time of year, I cannot go without Nerd Rope and Sweet Tart Ropes, so good! Don’t want to leave your house in the name of candy? No problem (and I don’t blame you)! Check your local Target’s candy selection through the Target app and choose drive up service!
Seasonal Scents – Every year, many of my favorite bath and body brands release new products and scents for the holidays. This year, I’m most excited about Native’s line of holiday scented deodorants. With scents like Holiday Sugar Cookie, Vanilla Chai, and Candy Cane, how could I not try? These were available for drive up at my local Target. The Body Shop has also introduced a couple of seasonal scents to go along with the old standbys, and I can’t wait to get my hands on a few of the new hand creams! Or get a few on my hands. See what I did there? I’m most intrigued by the Festive Berry Hand Cream, but The Body Shop has tons of gifting options!
Mighty Patches – If you have perfect skin, keep walking. But if you’re like 99% of the rest of us, dreaming of perfect skin, but still having the occasional breakout, Mighty Patches are about to change your life. Hero Cosmetics created these nearly invisible hydrocolloid Mighty Patches for overnight or daytime use. The hydrocolloid basically absorbs your blemish in a few hours. Zit, who? The magic of Hero Cosmetics does not end at the Mighty Patch, so you can check their site for other face saving favorites, but if the Mighty Patch is your immediate calling, they’re likely available for drive up at your local Target too!
Under $20
Daily Journal – @shutupcrystal mentioned this specific journal in a Vlogmas video last year, and I immediately ordered one and have used it every day since it arrived. This 5 Year Question-A-Day Journal asks you a question every day of the year. The question repeats on the same day each year, so in total, you’ll answer each question five times. I’m about to embark on year two, and I’m excited to see how my answers have changed and evolved. I’m also looking forward to looking back on what an incredibly strange year 2020 has been.
Spa Day Stuff – That’s the best category name I could come up with for like, beauty gadgets. So many people rave about this Flawless Facial Hair Remover, and I’ll admit, I’m one of the ravers! Dermaplaning led to me having half a right eyebrow back in January (setting the overall tone for 2020, amiright?), and this is a way simpler alternative. Along the same lines of things we need but don’t want to admit, the Amope Pedi Perfect is the solution to dry heels and calluses. I eventually splurged and got one that charges, but this one is just as great!
Cabin Socks – Fam, I love Cabin Socks. I get a few pairs yearly, and it’s a tradition I’m unwilling to break. They’re like clouds for your feet, enough said.
Splurge, Over $20
Fancy Toothbrushes – Are you obsessed with dental hygiene, or are you normal? Lol, I fall into the former camp, so I was thrilled when Kyle surprised me with a Sonicare toothbrush for Christmas a few years ago. I get it, the price tag is frankly, awful, but they recently announced a new “travel” Sonicare at the wallet friendly price of $25, and it comes in such pretty colors!
Echo Dot – I’ll admit, when Kyle first fell in love with Echo, I was dubious. I am fully capable of turning on a lamp, opening my phone’s weather app, and just watching Jeopardy (Alex is a staple in our house and he is so missed), but like, isn’t it nice to have some weird, always-listening-to-you robot do that for you? All joking aside, we have a house full of Echo products (that are compatible with smart bulbs, smart TVs, etc.) and I’ve grown to really love the convenience of them. Also, it comes in pink now, so.
Mini Vacuum – Sick of crumbs in your home office keyboard? Car? Couch cushions? I could go on and on, and I can totally relate to not wanting to lug my heavy vacuum downstairs when I spill a bowl of cereal. I was mostly trying to solve the keyboard problem when I stumbled upon this Bissel Handheld Vacuum, with a 4.5 star rating out of 2,000+ reviews!
Christmas looks so different this year, and I’m clinging to any tradition I can, so I’m looking forward to putting some stockings together for my loved ones. What are some of your stocking stuffer favorites?
xoxo I’ll probably get coal
