BlogOWeen Day 6: The Halloween Tag

  1. Are you a good or bad witch?
I fancy myself more of a Glinda!
  2. As a child, did you trick-or-treat? How old were you when you stopped?
HECK YEAH, I lived for trick-or-treat, and not even for the candy (well, a little for the candy), mostly just for the opportunity to show off my costumes. I was maybe too old to be trick-or-treating, probably didn’t stop until I was 15 or so. But, to quote one of my neighbors, “I don’t care how old you are. Either you eat my candy or I eat my candy, so all are welcome.”
  3. Your favorite ghost story?
Hmm…. that of Mr. Chicken 🙂
  4. Do you like watching horror movies? If so, what’s your favorite?
Yes, I love scary movies, and I have so many favorites, it’s tough to choose. If I could choose only one to watch for the rest of time, it would probably be The Ring.
  5. Your favorite scary creature?
All versions of Dracula are so spooky! In general, I think vampires are quintessential Halloween villains!
  6. What is the most awesome Halloween costume you’ve ever made?
I was once the wind, and that was hands down the coolest costume I’ve ever made, but because I have no picture evidence, I give you second best, an iPod with “Thriller” as my song, because duh.
  7. Would you rather meet a vampire or a werewolf?
This is tough. If we’re talking Cullen level hot, vampire, obviously. If I’m actually going to be in danger, a werewolf because I think I’d be more likely to live to tell about it! *polishes all my silver jewelry*
  8. Would you rather trick or treat in your neighborhood or a different neighborhood?
When I was little, my neighborhood, 100%! People went all out and had hundreds and hundreds of trick-or-treaters. To name a few fun things I remember, someone was a head under a platter yearly, and we had to lift the lid and talk to the severed head before we could have candy! One neighbor wearing camouflage would jump out of a pile of leaves in their front yard every few minutes, and another neighbor even set up a haunted house to walk through!
  9. Would you rather visit a haunted house or a haunted graveyard?
Down to visit both, but preferably when it’s light out!
  10. Would you rather spend Halloween night at a haunted house or at a cemetery?
Please don’t sign me up for either of these things, thanks! But if I have to choose, probably a haunted house because I’m not particularly outdoorsy.
  11. Halloween or 4th of July?
Is this question even real? Clearly, Halloween.
  12. What did you dress up as for last Halloween?
Kyle and I were Clark and Ellen Griswold!
  13. What was your favorite Halloween costume you wore as a child?
That’s tough, there were so many fun Halloween costumes! Here’s a few pictures from Halloweens past!
